Description

  • Drive a portfolio of Shopping catalog and indexing programs, tracking owners, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Run team operating cadences, including standups, planning, decision tracking, and documentation.
  • Build dashboards and reports covering program progress, risks, metrics, and decisions.
  • Manage dependencies across catalog, indexing, retrieval, serving, ads quality, and product teams.
  • Communicate program status, risks, trade-offs, and escalation paths to technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Use GenAI to draft program artifacts, automate intake and status workflows, extract actions and decisions, and identify risks.
  • Prototype data-driven dashboards, analyses, workflow helpers, and lightweight internal tools using AI coding assistants.
  • Apply AI governance and safety practices, including appropriate data handling, output validation, assumption documentation, and compliance review.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of Technical Program Management experience independently delivering technical programs, preferably in infrastructure, platform, or data environments.
  • Foundational understanding of distributed systems, including services, streaming pipelines, and batch versus real-time processing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with strong execution and follow-through.
  • Experience building dashboards, tracking metrics, and translating data into clear status updates.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including cross-team dependency and stakeholder management.
  • Fluency with GenAI for workflow design, prompting, lightweight scripting or tooling, dashboards, data analysis, and agent use.
  • Experience with AI governance, risk assessment, data handling, output validation, auditability, and traceability.
  • Experience with ads, monetization, Flink, Kafka, streaming systems, or financial controls is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to learn Pinterest’s Shopping and Ads domain.

Benefits

  • US base salary range of $103,965–$214,044, plus equity eligibility.
  • Remote work model; the role may be based anywhere in the country.
  • In-office collaboration required only 1–2 times every 6 months.
