Description

  • Lead benefits analysis and present options across medical, dental, vision, disability, group life, and voluntary benefit lines.
  • Advise clients on benefits package design and employee contribution strategy aligned with company goals and culture.
  • Benchmark benefits options against market data to support client decision-making.
  • Manage and mentor two offshore Benefits Marketing Specialists, including workflow, quality, and development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and general agency partners.
  • Partner with the internal Benefits Support team to drive timely renewal decisions.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff for accurate and flawless Open Enrollment execution.
  • Serve as the trusted benefits expert for clients and prospects evaluating their benefit programs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in small and large group benefits analysis and consulting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Active Life & Health insurance license required.
  • Confident and polished presentation skills for client-facing discussions.
  • Strong Excel proficiency and comfort with data modeling and proposal tools.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to build client trust.
  • Experience working with benefits for employers ranging from 2 to 250 employees.
  • Ability to provide strategic guidance on complex benefits decisions.
  • Experience leading or mentoring team members (preferred).
