Description

  • Lead, coach, hire, and develop the Latitude Compute Solutions Architecture team.
  • Set account coverage, technical qualification, POC, capacity planning, and performance standards.
  • Build reusable reference architectures, sizing models, POC playbooks, and competitive technical materials.
  • Provide technical risk input to sales forecasts and deal commitments.
  • Personally lead discovery, architecture design, sizing, demos, workshops, and proofs of concept for strategic opportunities.
  • Design and defend bare metal, GPU-accelerated compute, storage, and performance solutions with customer engineers.
  • Support customer evaluations, pilots, onboarding, and technical handoffs with complete documentation.
  • Develop joint Latitude–Megaport architectures and enable sales pods, partners, resellers, and wholesale channels.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations on roadmap feedback, infrastructure availability, and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain accurate CRM solution documentation and contribute to cross-company enablement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in a technical customer-facing role such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Professional Services Engineer.
  • At least 3 years leading or formally mentoring a technical pre-sales team.
  • Demonstrated player-coach experience managing a team while personally closing strategic deals.
  • Hands-on expertise in bare metal, GPU-accelerated compute, server architecture, virtualization, containerization, and workload performance planning.
  • Experience with AI and HPC infrastructure, including cluster design, high-performance networking, storage profiles, and dedicated versus hyperscaler economics.
  • Familiarity with BGP, private connectivity, hybrid cloud, and multicloud architectures.
  • Understanding of compute buying cycles, solution selling, and performance-intensive workload sizing.
  • Experience building technical go-to-market motions within larger sales organizations, including enablement, sales pods, or partner channels.
  • Comfort operating in an evolving integration across two companies and systems.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area and able to travel approximately 30%; alternative cloud, marketplace, reseller, supply-constrained infrastructure, Portuguese, or Spanish experience preferred.
