Description

  • Prospect, develop, and secure new enterprise business across the UK and Ireland through direct sales and channel partner engagement.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline from both direct and partner sources and report pipeline activity to senior management.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key channel partners and ecosystems to support co-selling and indirect revenue opportunities.
  • Profile enterprise prospects and architect cloud-based network solutions aligned to their needs.
  • Build solution offerings by understanding Megaport technologies and related offerings from cloud and vendor alliance partners.
  • Research business drivers, strategic objectives, stakeholders, target markets, and potential clients to shape sales approaches.
  • Work with sales management and client management teams to define market penetration strategies.
  • Act as the primary interface for key channel partners while also running direct hunting activity and targeted campaigns.
  • Create and execute go-to-market sales strategies that combine direct and channel approaches.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable success in enterprise solution sales with consistent achievement of or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven experience in a hybrid sales role covering both direct sales and channel partner/ecosystem business.
  • Strong ability to prospect, qualify, close, and manage partner relationships.
  • High-level understanding of data networking, cloud computing, and virtual private networking.
  • Consultative selling skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to create and execute a go-to-market sales strategy using both direct and channel approaches.
  • Tenacious, technical, personable, self-starter with strong outreach and partner development capability.
  • Strong NSP or MSP background is favourable.
  • Comfortable working remotely in a globally distributed environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
