Description

  • Build a pipeline through strategic outbound outreach, industry networking, and relationship-driven prospecting with no inbound lead support.
  • Qualify, pitch, and close multi-million-dollar event production programs for clients with recurring event needs.
  • Own the full sales cycle from first cold outreach through contract negotiation and handoff to execution.
  • Develop and manage relationships with meeting planners and C-suite stakeholders at target accounts.
  • Work with Producers, Technical Directors, and Logistics experts to shape client vision into production-ready event programs.
  • Target organizations with global, high-frequency event calendars and multiple events throughout the year.
  • Represent the company in person at client meetings, industry events, and booth activations, with up to 30% travel.
  • Navigate complex decision-making structures and align event solutions to client business goals.
  • Drive first-year new business performance toward a $1M closing benchmark.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of event industry experience, with preference for agency-side experience over AV-only hardware sales.
  • Proven track record of building a book of business from the ground up.
  • History of managing $10M+ in lifetime event revenue across a diverse client list.
  • Established high-level relationships in Pharma, FinServ, Tech, or Consulting.
  • Experience selling to Fortune 5000 companies and securing $1M+ opportunities.
  • Ability to work remotely from the United States and travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Strong strategic acumen to translate client business goals into technical production reality.
  • Ability to work proactively with grit and initiative without waiting for direction.
  • Experience selling solutions rather than only services, especially in complex enterprise environments.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $110,000-$150,000, with total compensation expected around $200,000-$300,000 including commission and bonus.
  • Uncapped commission and uncapped earning potential.
