Description

  • Develop and implement test strategies and test cases for new and existing features.
  • Design, write, and maintain automated UI and API test scripts.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies to provide QA input throughout the development cycle.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution using bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Communicate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and report on software health.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality and fast feedback.
  • Perform regression testing and root cause analysis when production bugs are identified.
  • Proactively suggest process improvements to prevent defects and improve development quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing.
  • English proficiency is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs using Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
  • Proficiency in Git and/or BitBucket.
  • Excellent ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and bug reports.
  • Experience with performance/load testing tools such as JMeter or Locust (preferred).
  • Knowledge of security/penetration testing principles (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for managing test environments (preferred).
