Description

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for system upgrades and new features.
  • Perform functional, regression, manual, and UI testing for Java-based web applications.
  • Validate user interface behavior and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Test compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements and Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Execute API testing for backend services such as Apache Solr and RESTful services.
  • Test Apache Tomcat deployments, Oracle 19c database integrations, and SAP Business Intelligence interfaces.
  • Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage defect tracking, document test results, and report quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and security teams in a regulated environment.
  • Verify security controls, data protection measures, and overall system readiness.

Requirements

  • 13+ years of experience in systems, IT, or a highly related field.
  • Current TS clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Bachelor’s degree may substitute for 4 years of experience; a master’s degree may substitute for 6 years of experience.
  • Extensive experience in functional and regression testing of Java-based web applications.
  • Strong UI testing expertise, including user interface validation and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Proficiency with defect tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of federal cybersecurity requirements and government accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG).
  • Experience testing Apache Tomcat application servers, Oracle 19c databases, and SAP Business Intelligence interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server environments.
  • API testing experience with Apache Solr and RESTful services.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab.
  • Excellent analytical skills and meticulous documentation practices.
  • Strong collaboration skills for cross-functional work in regulated environments.
