Description

  • Own the payer enrollment outcome as a business, including enrollment time and application success metrics.
  • Set priorities and decide where to invest to improve enrollment performance each quarter.
  • Stay close to customers, operators, and payer workflows to identify the biggest bottlenecks.
  • Lead the teams building the customer-facing enrollment product, payer submission systems, and automation layer.
  • Ship improvements quickly, measure their impact, and keep what drives better enrollment results.
  • Make technical tradeoffs and guide the team on when to pursue ambitious solutions versus simpler ones.
  • Hire, develop, and retain engineers and engineering managers across the enrollment organization.
  • Partner with Operations, Product, Applied AI, and customer-facing teams to resolve edge cases and accelerate enrollment.
  • Align teams around shared goals that improve submission speed, application success rates, and automation.
  • Ensure the team delivers business outcomes rather than simply closing tickets or shipping code.

Requirements

  • Experience leading an engineering organization against business metrics rather than only delivery metrics.
  • Product-minded leadership with a strong focus on workflow, user experience, and customer needs.
  • Ability to move quickly and ship customer-facing changes in days rather than quarters.
  • Experience hiring, growing, and retaining strong engineers and engineering managers.
  • Technical credibility that earns the trust of senior engineers, even without writing the code personally.
  • Comfort working in complex, regulated, operations-heavy environments.
  • Strong technical judgment to evaluate tradeoffs and guide product and systems decisions.
  • Experience building products that people rely on in production.
  • Preferred: experience in domains where operational complexity and real-world constraints are central to the work.
