Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior Solution Architects across EMEA, the Middle East, and Africa.
  • Serve as an executive technical sponsor on high-value deals through customer meetings, strategy sessions, and architectural deep dives.
  • Manage team operating cadences, including 1:1s, professional development plans, and performance tracking.
  • Drive strategic go-to-market initiatives and business operationalization to support revenue growth over the next 6–12 months.
  • Develop partner strategies with regional ecosystems to scale technical architecture and business impact.
  • Align cross-functionally with international leaders to unify pre-sales technical strategy with business goals.
  • Support customer success and technical execution across complex enterprise sales cycles.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of total experience in technical enterprise roles such as Solution Architecture, Sales Engineering, or Professional Services.
  • 5+ years of experience managing, leading, or scaling pre-sales technical teams.
  • Proven success in enterprise solution selling and leading complex, multi-stakeholder technical sales cycles.
  • Experience driving multi-million-dollar ARR targets.
  • Experience institutionalizing sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or similar frameworks.
  • Deep expertise with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience with enterprise cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server, plus NoSQL systems such as MongoDB, Cassandra, and DynamoDB.
  • Hands-on experience with integration architecture, APIs, Linux, SQL, and data pipeline technologies.
  • Experience leading or deploying AI initiatives, including enterprise adoption of Generative and Agentic AI workflows such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or n8n.
  • Preferred experience with Data Productivity Cloud / Matillion ETL or comparable data integration platforms.
  • Preferred experience with Spark/PySpark, modern data lakes/lakehouses, and MPP databases such as Teradata, Vertica, or Netezza.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Total on-target earnings of £162,400 to £243,700, including sales commissions.
