Description

  • Design, build, and maintain highly available Kubernetes infrastructure at scale.
  • Lead design for small to medium components and features, and contribute to design for larger initiatives.
  • Own a component or feature of the compute platform with significant responsibility.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions for container orchestration and cloud-native services.
  • Mentor engineers on Kubernetes best practices, container security, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop automation tools and improve CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
  • Collaborate with platform and application teams to optimize workload performance.
  • Drive improvements to system reliability, observability, and disaster recovery.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on production experience with Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of container technologies such as Docker and containerd.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Helm.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, Python, or Java.
  • Deep knowledge of networking, security, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) is preferred.
  • Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd is preferred.
  • Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog is preferred.
  • Experience in the fintech or payments industry is preferred.
  • Contributions to the open-source Kubernetes ecosystem are preferred.
