Description

  • Serve as a trusted technical and payments advisor to customers throughout the tokenization lifecycle.
  • Own the technical implementation of customers onto Marqeta’s platform, including environment configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Become an expert on Marqeta’s tokenization APIs and develop best practices for their deployment.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues with customers, including diagnosing root causes and guiding them through documentation.
  • Communicate directly with customers’ developers, product owners, and project managers.
  • Act as a technical resource for delivery and onboarding teams and represent the customer’s perspective in external engagements.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to improve technical onboarding processes.
  • Maintain current expertise on Marqeta’s products and surface implementation learnings and customer feedback internally.
  • Balance broad implementation considerations with detailed hands-on execution with minimal oversight.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with enterprise customers in sales engineering, implementation, or technical account management roles.
  • Proficiency working with APIs and the ability to explain API concepts to customers.
  • Experience with Bruno or Postman; SQL and Datadog are a plus.
  • Ability to understand complex enterprise requirements and communicate technical concepts clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to identify onboarding issues, work cross-functionally, and develop scalable solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously under aggressive schedules.
  • Experience in the B2B technology space.
  • Strong understanding of payments issuing, including tokenization, networks, and point-of-sale.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Remote work available in the United States in Premium or National locations only.

  • Base salary range of $112,700-$140,900 for National locations and $122,000-$152,500 for Premium locations.
