Description

Define the enterprise AI and automation strategy, including responsible AI principles, governance frameworks, and a multi-quarter adoption roadmap.
Identify and prioritize high-value AI and automation use cases across business units.
Map enterprise workflows to find opportunities for meaningful AI-driven operational improvements.
Define functional and technical requirements for internal AI and automation platforms as the primary proxy for BT engineering.
Partner with architecture and AI governance groups to ensure solutions meet IT standards and governance requirements.
Design and lead the intake, prioritization, and planning process for AI and automation requests.
Conduct feasibility assessments and cost-benefit analyses for proposed AI initiatives.
Maintain a visible backlog of active and pending AI and automation work.
Oversee QA, UAT, sprint demos, deployment coordination, and hypercare for major releases.
Evaluate AI tools and vendors, run pilots, negotiate contracts, and manage ongoing vendor relationships.
Own rollout planning, adoption efforts, change management, and internal enablement programs such as an AI Champion Network and Community of Practice.
Measure, report on, and continuously improve the business value and adoption of the enterprise AI program.

Requirements

7+ years in IT product management, including at least 2 years focused on AI or emerging technology products.
Understanding of AI capabilities such as summarization, classification, generation, and agentic workflows.
Experience building internal-facing enterprise AI systems or platforms.
Experience managing product backlogs, defects, and enhancement roadmaps for enterprise applications or internal platforms.
Strong prioritization skills and comfort making tradeoffs in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment.
Ability to influence without authority across business units, finance, legal, and security stakeholders.
Hands-on comfort evaluating AI platforms, configuring agents, and troubleshooting issues; production coding is not required.
Experience with no-code/low-code AI platforms such as Workato or similar is a strong plus.
Change management experience with a focus on driving adoption, not just deployment.
Fintech or regulated industry experience is preferred.

Base salary range of $136,100 to $170,100 for the National tier, with compensation adjusted by work location.
