Description

  • Collaboratively define the enterprise AI and automation strategy, including responsible AI principles, governance frameworks, and a multi-quarter adoption roadmap.
  • Partner with business units to identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-value AI and automation use cases.
  • Map enterprise workflows to identify opportunities for meaningful operational improvements through AI.
  • Define functional and technical requirements for internal AI and automation platforms as the primary proxy for BT engineering.
  • Work with Architecture Review Boards and the AI Steering Committee to ensure solutions meet IT standards and governance requirements.
  • Design and lead the Plan and Commit process for AI and automation technology requests.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and cost-benefit analysis for proposed initiatives.
  • Maintain and prioritize a visible backlog of active and pending AI and automation work.
  • Oversee QA, UAT, sprint demos, deployment windows, and hypercare for major releases.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools, run pilots, support vendor selection and negotiations, and manage ongoing vendor relationships.
  • Lead rollout, adoption, and change management efforts across business units in partnership with communications and learning teams.
  • Define adoption metrics, measure business value, and report progress and outcomes to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in IT product management, with at least 2 years focused on AI or emerging technology products.
  • Understanding of AI capabilities such as summarization, classification, generation, and agentic workflows.
  • Experience building internal-facing enterprise AI systems or platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience managing product backlogs, defects, and enhancement roadmaps for enterprise applications or internal platforms.
  • Strong prioritization skills in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across business units, finance, legal, and security without direct authority.
  • Comfort working hands-on with AI tools, including evaluating platforms, configuring agents, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Experience with no-code or low-code AI platforms such as Workato, or similar, is a strong plus.
  • Change management experience with a focus on driving adoption.
  • Fintech or regulated industry experience is preferred.
