Description

  • Drive customer solutions and close business with both existing and new customers.
  • Own the full sales cycle by engaging prospects, partners, and key customers throughout adoption.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast of business opportunities.
  • Understand customer and prospect technical requirements and related certifications.
  • Set and execute strategic sales plans for assigned territories in alignment with company direction.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management on quarterly strategies.
  • Follow up with leads in your territory within company SLAs using phone, email, and social media.
  • Manage and accelerate the sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Travel up to 20% to company and customer locations.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of database, data management, DBaaS, or cloud sales experience.
  • Experience selling enterprise cloud database solutions preferred.
  • Experience selling open source software solutions preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage large enterprise opportunities while also closing transactional business.
  • Strong sales acumen for running complex sales cycles.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience using prospecting and opportunity development tools such as Salesloft, Salesforce.com, Zoom, Marketo, and ZoomInfo.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate the business value of complex enterprise solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud databases or data integration technologies is preferred.
  • Experience working with partners on complex implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors, is preferred.
