Description

  • Design, run, and analyse A/B tests and other experiments across the customer lifecycle.
  • Build cohort, funnel, retention, segmentation, and LTV analyses to understand customer behaviour and opportunities.
  • Lead deep-dive investigations into commercial performance, churn, fraud patterns, and product engagement.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
  • Present findings to senior stakeholders as clear, honest, decision-ready conclusions.
  • Build and maintain self-service dashboards and reports for cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with Product and Development teams to shape and deliver the data roadmap.
  • Work with Data Engineers on data quality, modelling, and pipeline reliability.
  • Support Customer Success, Commercial, Marketing, and Compliance teams with ad hoc analysis and reporting.
  • Help define and enforce data governance, quality, and responsible data-use practices.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer role, ideally in fintech, e-commerce, SaaS, or another high-volume consumer business.
  • Advanced SQL, including the ability to write complex queries, optimise them, and understand data models.
  • Strong experimentation experience, including designing and analysing A/B tests, statistical significance, sample sizing, and common pitfalls.
  • Experience with cohort and behavioural analysis, including retention curves, funnel analyses, LTV models, and segmentation.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau preferred, or another major BI platform such as Power BI, Looker, or Metabase.
  • Experience using Python or R for analysis, such as Pandas, statsmodels, scikit-learn, or equivalent tools.
  • Ability to communicate messy analytical questions clearly and provide decision-ready answers.
  • Comfort working across Product, Engineering, and Operations stakeholders.
  • Experience with AWS, dbt, Athena, or product analytics platforms is relevant to the role.
  • Familiarity with fintech, customer lifecycle analytics, or data governance is advantageous.
