Description

  • Develop, train, test, and optimize machine learning models for predictive analytics, classification, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare data through ingestion, preprocessing, normalization, validation, feature engineering, and enrichment across multiple sources.
  • Build reusable data pipelines and datasets for model training, evaluation, and inference.
  • Integrate ML models with data pipelines, APIs, and application services for operational use cases.
  • Support model packaging, version control, deployment automation, CI/CD improvements, and production readiness.
  • Develop and execute model testing and validation procedures; monitor performance, outputs, data quality, and defects.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, developers, architects, and stakeholders to translate business needs into ML designs and implementation tasks.
  • Document model architectures, experiments, evaluation results, deployment procedures, and technical decisions.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, conduct peer code reviews, and resolve integration issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and professional experience.
  • Experience developing, training, evaluating, and optimizing ML models with Python, scikit-learn, pandas, and NumPy.
  • Hands-on experience using Databricks for data processing, model development, experimentation, and ML workflows.
  • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, validation, and structured and semi-structured datasets.
  • Familiarity with ML deployment, REST APIs, and integration with data pipelines or application services.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions for source control and CI/CD workflows, including automated testing, builds, and deployments.
  • Understanding of model evaluation metrics, testing methodologies, and model performance monitoring.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented Python code and collaborate in an Agile cross-functional team.
  • Relevant certifications or training in machine learning, Databricks, cloud technologies, or MLOps (preferred).
  • US citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident status for at least 3 years, plus Federal tax compliance.
