Description

  • Create blog articles and resources to attract website visitors through search and email.
  • Support the launch of the YOUnion brand.
  • Write, edit, and help design website Learning Center resources.
  • Participate as a guest on a college-life podcast.
  • Produce and design email campaigns for corporate and property initiatives.
  • Plan and write monthly newsletter content.
  • Advise on property merchandise orders.
  • Assist with marketing duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, grammar, and business communication skills.
  • Web-savvy with strong internet research abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and seek direction when needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Fluency in English and familiarity with proper usage; AP style experience preferred.
  • Reliable computer and Wi-Fi access.
  • Experience with content production, email campaigns, or website management preferred.
  • Experience with WordPress, HubSpot, Asana, Google Workspace, Adobe CC Libraries, Canva, or digital asset management systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of inbound and content marketing strategies preferred.
  • Available to work at least 15 hours per week on a consistent but flexible schedule and located near the University of Arkansas for occasional in-person events and meetings.
