Description

  • Create fresh content for the property learning center and website to drive traffic from search, social, and email subscribers.
  • Write and edit articles about the Texas A&M University lifestyle and off-campus living.
  • Appear on camera to answer student housing questions from peers.
  • Produce monthly email newsletters, including copywriting, design, and distribution.
  • Assist with website updates, including blog posts and landing pages.
  • Write, edit, and help design Learning Center resources such as eBooks and fact sheets.
  • Plan, organize, and help direct photo and video shoots for social media and marketing materials.
  • Work with marketing and leasing teams to recruit and select brand ambassadors.
  • Support other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently attending Texas A&M University and pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Must reside in College Station, TX.
  • Minimum of 15 hours per week with a consistent, flexible schedule.
  • Experience running social media, email campaigns, or managing a website for a student organization, business, or nonprofit is preferred but not required.
  • Strong grasp of Instagram and TikTok.
  • Access to a reliable computer and WiFi, with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Web savvy with strong internet research skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Fluent in English with proper grammar and usage; AP style experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written business communication skills.
  • Experience with WordPress, HubSpot, Asana, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Adobe CC Libraries, Canva, Later, Hootsuite, photography, or photo editing is a plus but not required.

  • Paid internship at $15 per hour.
  • Internship runs from August 2026 to December 2026 with the possibility to continue into spring.
  • Approximate schedule of 15–25 hours per week.
