Description

  • Contribute to major architectural decisions for the site generation and site builder platform.
  • Design and build cloud-native APIs, services, and front-end experiences that support website creation.
  • Own major features and services across the stack for the AI-first platform.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to deliver AI-powered workflows and site-building experiences.
  • Write clean, testable, and scalable code across the stack.
  • Drive meaningful improvements to the platform architecture.
  • Support rapid feature iteration and incorporate feedback quickly.
  • Work independently to deliver well-defined outcomes with cross-functional partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience, with a backend focus.
  • Experience supporting a product from MVP to scale in rapid iterations.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Experience with scalable microservice architecture; AWS experience is preferred.
  • Solid command of GraphQL, event-driven systems such as Kafka and SQS, and distributed databases.
  • Familiarity with modern AI tools and experience developing AI-driven solutions is a plus.
  • Claude Code experience is required.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with limited product and design guidance.
  • Customer-first mindset and ability to empathize with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud-native infrastructure and modern stack components such as Kubernetes, Lambda, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Tailwind, Apollo, SingleSPA, LangChain, LangFuse, OpenRouter, Mastra, or Python ETLs is a plus.
