Description

  • Shape platform architecture and technical direction for an AI-augmented engineering organization.
  • Build a self-serve advertising platform for launching and managing Meta and Google ad campaigns inside Presence.
  • Develop AI-generated social video pipelines that turn listing and agent data into published content for social platforms.
  • Design the data model and event architecture for full-funnel attribution from ad click to closed deal.
  • Build systems that support organic growth through next-level SEO and generative engine optimization for real estate agents.
  • Lead high-impact initiatives from concept through production in a SaaS environment.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and executive stakeholders to communicate tradeoffs and align on technical decisions.
  • Raise the bar for software design, platform scalability, and multi-tenant architecture.
  • Contribute to systems that use AI in the engineering workflow to write, review, and ship production code.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including time in senior or staff-level roles.
  • Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Experience designing and operating scalable microservice architectures in cloud-native environments, with AWS preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GraphQL, event-driven systems such as Kafka and SQS, and distributed databases including PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch.
  • Proven track record of leading high-impact initiatives from concept through production in a SaaS environment.
  • Expert-level understanding of software design principles and multi-tenant platform architectures.
  • Daily use of AI tools such as Claude Code as part of the engineering workflow.
  • Strong opinions, loosely held, about how AI changes software architecture, team structure, and engineering culture.
  • Clear, direct communication skills for working with product, design, and executive stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in a fast-growing, ambiguous environment where ownership and priorities change quickly.
