Description

  • Partner with internal teams to identify operational bottlenecks and design high-leverage tools.
  • Architect and scale the Scout internal platform across React frontends, NestJS backends, and integrated data systems.
  • Build and support full-stack applications, including dashboards, APIs, data integrations, and background jobs.
  • Use AI development agents to write, review, test, and ship production code efficiently.
  • Own ambiguous internal product challenges from problem definition through solution design and delivery.
  • Integrate internal tools with CRM, data warehouse, communications, and other business platforms.
  • Maintain reliable software through feature flags, testing, observability, and robust architecture.

Requirements

  • Senior or Staff-level full-stack engineering experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Experience building scalable backend services; NestJS experience is preferred.
  • Experience designing GraphQL APIs using code-first resolvers.
  • Strong PostgreSQL and ORM fundamentals, particularly Sequelize.
  • Experience writing integration tests against real databases.
  • Experience with modern DevOps practices, including feature flags, testing, and observability.
  • Experience with AI development workflows and tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
  • Familiarity with technologies including Redis, Bull, Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, LaunchDarkly, and Datadog is valuable.
