Description

  • Recruit, hire, and build a diverse retail team.
  • Train and develop the management team and store staff on brand, product, service, and leadership practices.
  • Coach, motivate, and support employee growth through development plans and constructive feedback.
  • Drive sales performance by developing and executing business plans aligned with company strategy.
  • Collaborate with the team to exceed daily sales goals and deliver an inclusive customer experience.
  • Educate customers and staff on brand values, ethical sourcing, and product offerings.
  • Manage budgets, inventory, ordering, waste, and stock levels within allocated targets.
  • Create and execute merchandising plans and maintain a clean, consistent store presentation.
  • Schedule staff to meet business needs while managing breaks, attendance, payroll accuracy, and labor budget.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace standards, health and safety, and DEIB initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of retail management experience.
  • Strong HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills.
  • Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Experience with consultation-based customer service models (preferred).
  • Experience developing and training staff through positive coaching and feedback (preferred).
  • A strong record of developing retail staff careers (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Suite, and other systems as needed (preferred).
  • Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training (preferred).
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages (preferred).
