Description

  • Bid out and manage all renovation contracts.
  • Submit invoices, track project budgets, and ensure contractor performance aligns with contract terms.
  • Negotiate low-cost pricing and source products that improve renovation quality and aesthetic appeal.
  • Partner with senior management to determine specification levels.
  • Develop detailed scopes of work and budgets for each renovation job.
  • Manage, train, and terminate general contractors and subcontractors when needed.
  • Recruit new contractors and vendor relationships through networking and cold calls.
  • Ensure contractors are properly registered before starting work.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of purchasing experience with a major home builder and remodeling company.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Some Spanish language ability is preferred.
  • Experience managing contractors and subcontractors.
  • Experience developing scopes of work and job budgets.
  • Ability to negotiate vendor and contract pricing.
