Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications.
  • Build reusable, standards-based web components using modern JavaScript.
  • Develop frontend applications using Vite as the primary build tool.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate Ruby-based services and REST APIs.
  • Ensure applications meet accessibility (WCAG) standards and best practices.
  • Optimize application performance, maintainability, and browser compatibility.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture and engineering best practices.
  • Work closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues across multiple browsers and devices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Hands-on experience with Vite.
  • Experience with Ember.js and Lit.
  • Experience building applications using vanilla JavaScript.
  • Experience developing Web Components.
  • Working knowledge of Ruby and experience integrating with Ruby-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and building accessible user interfaces.
  • Experience using Git in a collaborative development environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with TypeScript, component libraries or design systems, frontend testing frameworks, performance optimization and Core Web Vitals, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
