Description

  • Own the design and implementation of critical backend components for mission-critical systems.
  • Build high-volume, low-latency applications with high availability and strong performance.
  • Develop reliable, scalable, and high-performance services for distributed systems.
  • Solve complex technical problems across systems and domains and create plans to address them.
  • Debug production issues, maintain existing codebases, and support platform stability.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for mission-critical services.
  • Lead by example through code quality and engineering practices.
  • Provide code review feedback, share knowledge, and help onboard new engineers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience, preferably from a product-based IT company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithm design.
  • Deep proficiency in Node.js for high-concurrency orchestration and backend services.
  • Deep proficiency in Python for AI/ML logic and data processing.
  • Practical experience building applications with LLMs such as OpenAI or Anthropic, RAG, and vector databases.
  • Expert-level knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and MySQL.
  • Experience with data processing frameworks such as Kafka, Airflow, Apache Spark, and Hadoop.
  • Experience building REST APIs and debugging distributed microservice-based applications.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, and other development tools.
  • Cloud experience with either Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
