Description

  • Design and build multi-agent AI systems for customer-facing workflows such as email triage, refund processing, escalation logic, and voice bot interactions.
  • Develop and maintain N8N automation workflows, including code node scripting with Python and JavaScript.
  • Integrate voice AI platforms with custom prompt logic for call-bot behavior, customer handling, and multi-step flows.
  • Classify and prioritize automation use cases based on business impact, technical complexity, and urgency.
  • Define, document, test, and maintain REST APIs for integration with CRMs, helpdesk platforms, and internal systems.
  • Perform technical assessments of integration issues by reviewing API responses, logs, configurations, and system outputs.
  • Build and manage API test suites in Postman and N8N, including edge cases and regression scenarios.
  • Collaborate with Development, Product, QA, and support operations teams to reproduce, diagnose, and escalate technical issues.
  • Craft and iterate LLM prompts for structured outputs such as JSON schemas, classification, sentiment analysis, and reference extraction.
  • Improve workflow quality, document APIs and automation processes, support onboarding, and identify recurring automation gaps for process improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in AI automation engineering, backend integration, or technical roles in digital or SaaS environments.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining automation workflows in N8N or equivalent platforms such as Zapier or Make.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, including design, integration, testing, and documentation; building APIs is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of REST API design principles, including HTTP methods, status codes, request/response structuring, and versioning.
  • Proficiency with N8N, including webhook debugging, dynamic base URL configuration, and AI node integration.
  • Experience with customer support platforms such as ZenDesk, HelpScout, Freshdesk, or LiveAgent for API integration.
  • Strong expertise in prompt engineering and generative AI, with developer-level experience using Claude, GPT, and similar models.
  • Proficiency with Postman for API testing, test suite management, and environment configuration.
  • Familiarity with voice AI platforms such as Vapi, Bland AI, ElevenLabs, ConnexAI, Retell AI, or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and Python; familiarity with multi-agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen is a plus.
  • Background in customer service or support operations is a plus.
  • Advanced English communication skills are required for interviews; Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.
