Description

  • Identify and pursue high-potential retail prospects and new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to win key retail accounts.
  • Deliver product demonstrations that show the value of Lightspeed’s retail solutions.
  • Manage complex deals from first contact through negotiation and closing.
  • Build trusted relationships with owners, managers, and decision-makers.
  • Understand client goals and pain points to tailor solutions and support long-term success.
  • Use analytics and reporting to support onboarding and customer outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prospect interactions in the CRM.
  • Contribute to sales and marketing campaigns that improve customer experience and grow MRR.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in direct, outbound sales with a proven record of managing the full sales cycle and exceeding targets.
  • Experience in IT solutions, software sales, e-commerce, cloud applications, SaaS, POS, retail, or related technology sectors.
  • Experience leading high-value negotiations and securing strategic deals.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to assess complex situations and recommend effective solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills for engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to build trust with decision-makers through emotional intelligence and active listening.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM and pipeline management tools.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments with persistence and a results-focused mindset.
  • Fluency in English as a working language is required.
  • Experience with direct sales in a global company or multi-market environment is a plus.
