Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional data teams to design and deploy scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Champion end-to-end security across infrastructure, supply chain, and third-party system integrations.
  • Advance self-service workflows for data and infrastructure to improve team access, agility, and productivity.
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code practices to infrastructure design, deployment, and operations.
  • Ensure High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and security are built into infrastructure architecture and delivery.
  • Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for production systems and infrastructure issues.
  • Contribute to broader team goals and organizational objectives beyond the strict scope of the role.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing production environments.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proven experience orchestrating and managing infrastructure through code.
  • Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Bash and Golang.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Familiarity with GCP data and security components.
  • Familiarity with IAM best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and networking.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and accountability skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Fluency in English as a working language is required.
  • Experience with security-focused infrastructure decisions and operations is preferred.
