Description

  • Maintain a reliable, scalable, and highly available production platform.
  • Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for critical services.
  • Build and improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Jaeger, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Manage and tune Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
  • Automate operational tasks using Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform and Helm.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and safe deployment strategies, including blue/green and canary releases.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, lead incident response, troubleshoot issues, and conduct blameless post-mortems.
  • Monitor and optimize PostgreSQL performance, backups, and high availability.
  • Plan capacity, test resilience, and help reduce cloud costs.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or production infrastructure roles.
  • Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Loki, or Jaeger.
  • Experience with Terraform, Helm, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Scripting or coding ability in Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Strong Linux and networking fundamentals, including DNS, load balancing, TCP/IP, and TLS.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
  • Experience managing production incidents and writing root-cause analyses.
  • Service mesh experience with Istio, Consul, or Linkerd is preferred.
  • PostgreSQL administration, .NET Core production experience, Kafka or RabbitMQ knowledge, and relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or another 24/7 operations environment is preferred.
