Description

  • Own the strategy, performance, and leadership of four core teams: Marketing Automation (MAT), Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Marketing Analytics, and Marketing AI.
  • Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing global team across MAT, CRO, AI and Data, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Define and execute global growth strategies that align with Lightspeed’s business goals across markets and verticals.
  • Drive experimentation and data analytics to optimize lead generation, lead scoring, conversion funnels, and customer retention.
  • Own the global marketing tech stack and automation strategy to ensure scalable and efficient campaign execution.
  • Lead CRO efforts across web properties, collaborating with UX, design, and content teams to test and improve user journeys.
  • Partner with Information Systems and sales teams to implement Marketing AI initiatives, including leveraging genAI to enrich prospect and customer profiles.
  • Partner with the Data Office to define KPIs, build dashboards, and create a culture of performance measurement and iterative improvement.
  • Work cross-functionally with regional leaders, product teams, and revenue operations to align on growth priorities and execution plans.
  • Establish and institutionalize an experimentation framework and test-and-learn culture across teams.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or marketing operations, ideally in a global SaaS or eCommerce environment.
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams, including cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Proven success managing or scaling Marketing Automation/AI, CRO, and/or Data teams.
  • Deep understanding of modern marketing tech stacks (examples: Salesforce, HubSpot or Marketo, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Fivetran, Looker, GA4, Clay CMS/CDP).
  • Strong analytical mindset with a track record of leveraging data and experimentation to drive marketing performance.
  • Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments with a passion for continuous improvement and experimentation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative, global mindset.
  • Fluency in English as a working language (required for this position).
  • Preferred: experience in POS, retail tech, or hospitality tech industries.
  • Preferred: familiarity with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) as they relate to data collection and marketing practices.
