Description

  • Design and build high-quality features that integrate third-party data and systems.
  • Work with AI coding tools as a first-class collaborator to create specs, generate code and tests, verify results, and perform reviews.
  • Help define and codify AI-native engineering practices and playbooks for the Foundry team and broader organization.
  • Build across the full stack as needed to ship polished, performant, and reliable experiences at scale.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to turn complex user problems into scalable engineering solutions.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
  • Mentor team members and help evolve team processes, technical standards, and AI-native workflows.
  • Support performance, reliability, and accessibility across the features you own.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building high-quality, consumer-scale software products.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience prompting, evaluating, and building with LLMs.
  • Strong proficiency in mobile development (iOS or Android) with a preference for mobile experience.
  • Web and backend experience in Java, Kubernetes, or AWS is valued as an alternative.
  • Deep experience with agentic workflows, prompt engineering, context window management, and MCP/function calling.
  • Experience using AI tooling to meaningfully increase personal output beyond autocomplete.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with product, design, and platform engineers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot is expected for daily work.
  • Excitement for defining and advancing AI-native engineering practices, with openness to continuous learning.
