Description

  • Lead end-to-end product design for experiences that connect families across distance, life stage, and relationship type.
  • Translate strategy and user insights into scalable UI/UX solutions aligned with Circle Expansion priorities.
  • Lead early design explorations for connection, safety, and contextual experiences across multiple life stages and relationship types.
  • Rapidly prototype concepts using Figma, AI-assisted tools, and interactive frameworks.
  • Create interaction models and design frameworks that simplify complex experiences.
  • Expand the design system with scalable patterns across relationship types, life stages, and devices.
  • Partner with product management, engineering, research, and industrial design to deliver experiences across software and hardware surfaces.
  • Influence roadmap decisions by connecting design work to member needs, engagement, and business growth.
  • Guide and mentor designers across the organization.
  • Champion design culture by introducing new practices and inspiration from the broader industry.

Requirements

  • 10+ years designing consumer-facing products in mobile-first environments.
  • Experience working on complex multi-actor or multi-touchpoint experiences.
  • Portfolio demonstrating emotionally resonant, human-centered design work.
  • Strong prototyping and iteration skills, with the ability to connect explorations back into a system.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Systems thinking experience building frameworks that scale across teams and platforms.
  • Ability to operate across both problem definition and solution delivery, from early discovery through detailed execution.
  • Positive, collaborative mindset with curiosity and humility.
  • Experience with hardware-integrated experiences such as wearables or GPS trackers is a strong plus.
  • Comfort using AI tools in design workflows and interview processes as directed by the recruiter.
