Description

  • Lead stakeholder and subject-matter-expert discovery to define problems, root causes, solution options, and requirements boundaries.
  • Investigate system behavior through code reviews, database queries, and API interactions.
  • Translate business requirements into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data-flow diagrams, and integration specifications.
  • Direct AI-assisted tools to generate requirements artifacts and validate their accuracy, completeness, business-rule fidelity, and edge-case coverage.
  • Maintain the pod’s domain knowledge base, including business rules, system documentation, integration patterns, and glossaries.
  • Own and continuously refine, sequence, and maintain the product backlog.
  • Partner with Product Management, senior engineers, and architects on roadmap delivery, technical feasibility, integrations, and cross-system dependencies.
  • Lead refinement, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective ceremonies.
  • Validate delivered stories against acceptance criteria and review pull requests and implementation code.
  • Maintain and enforce a definition of done covering behavioral and implementation standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent software development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical product ownership, solutions analysis, or software engineering in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to read and reason about application code, evaluate architectural approaches, and assess technical feasibility.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, relational database design, data modeling, and web application architecture.
  • Proficiency with T-SQL or an equivalent language for database investigation and validation.
  • Experience authoring user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements documentation.
  • Working proficiency with AI-assisted requirements tools, including prompt design, output evaluation, and domain knowledge base management.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and diagramming tools such as Draw.io or Lucidchart.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders; detail-oriented, collaborative, self-directed, and skilled in problem-solving.
  • U.S. work authorization required; familiarity with C#/.NET, Entity Framework, React or Angular, SQL Server, Git, Bitbucket, Postman, or Swagger preferred.
