Description

  • Own product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for operational and technical platforms.
  • Translate business and user problems into requirements, user stories, technical specifications, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with engineering through discovery, architecture, development, testing, and launch.
  • Prioritize features based on customer impact, business value, technical complexity, and marketplace dynamics.
  • Build products that improve marketplace supply, demand, liquidity, discovery, conversion, retention, and transaction volume.
  • Define KPIs, instrumentation, dashboards, and experimentation frameworks with data and analytics teams.
  • Develop APIs, integrations, internal tools, workflows, and platform capabilities.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and identify technical or operational risks.
  • Lead experimentation, A/B testing, and post-launch product improvements.
  • Communicate strategy and tradeoffs while helping establish product management practices as the company scales.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience, ideally in a marketplace, e-commerce, or technology-driven environment.
  • Experience building and launching technical products or platforms with engineering teams.
  • Technical fluency in APIs, microservices, databases, event-driven systems, integrations, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines.
  • Ability to understand technical architecture and collaborate deeply with engineers without writing code.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience defining product metrics, analyzing funnels, and using experimentation to improve outcomes.
  • Comfort making decisions with incomplete information in a high-growth, fast-changing startup.
  • Demonstrated ownership, bias toward action, and focus on measurable results.
  • Must live within commuting distance of the company’s NYC office.
