Description

  • Define and communicate the multi-year technical product strategy and roadmap in partnership with the CTO and executive team.
  • Own the technical product portfolio spanning healthcare data ingestion, Databricks lakehouse architecture, data products, and AI/ML infrastructure.
  • Set platform outcomes and executive KPIs covering adoption, reliability, performance, DORA metrics, SLAs, FinOps, and ROI.
  • Partner with Engineering on cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, APIs, AI infrastructure, and architectural trade-offs.
  • Establish standards for data quality, AI governance, compliance, identity and access, and observability.
  • Champion responsible AI practices, including evaluations, traceability, drift detection, bias mitigation, and clinical validation.
  • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives from conception through production while managing dependencies, risk, and technical debt.
  • Represent the technical platform to enterprise customers, strategic partners, and go-to-market teams.
  • Build, lead, and scale the technical product management organization, including hiring, career frameworks, succession planning, and operating processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • 15+ years of technical product management experience, including 6+ years leading platform, cloud, SaaS, or data/AI infrastructure products at scale.
  • 8+ years of people leadership experience, including managing managers and building high-performing TPM organizations.
  • Experience partnering with engineering teams delivering platform software, with emphasis on quality, velocity, and DORA metrics.
  • Experience establishing a technical product management function within an Engineering organization.
  • Executive presence and a record of influencing senior leaders while owning technical portfolio strategy and outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of modern cloud data stacks, including Databricks and Snowflake, and data engineering practices.
  • Experience delivering ML or Generative AI solutions, including AI evaluation, governance, or Agentic Driven Development practices.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations, including FHIR, HL7, ICD-10, claims data, HIPAA, and HITRUST.
  • Preferred: Python or SQL coding experience, payer/provider enterprise software commercialization, or strategic partnerships and M&A diligence.
