Description

  • Maintain existing customer relationships and develop new business within a defined geographic territory.
  • Cold call and prospect for new customers.
  • Manage a book of open orders to keep customers informed and satisfied.
  • Update the CRM daily and organize the sales schedule around an outside sales approach.
  • Build relationships with customers at all levels of their organizations.
  • Help solve customer problems and support continued industrial operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering, or a 2-year technical degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of industrial sales experience in industrial repair services preferred, with experience in electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, or mechanical components valued.
  • Demonstrated experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, account development, and time management.
  • Ability to establish and maintain business relationships.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office products and the ability to learn and use a CRM system.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed.
  • Ability to drive to customer sites in industrial settings and lift/carry items up to 50 lbs.
