Description

  • Meet and exceed annual sales and gross profit goals.
  • Prospect, follow up, and convert new OEM, Capital Project, and MRO customers.
  • Identify and develop strategic target accounts for long-term growth.
  • Conduct customer needs assessments and create tailored solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and quotations aligned to customer requirements.
  • Negotiate and close deals that maximize value for customers and the company.
  • Provide responsive, accurate, and timely customer service while resolving issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and service teams to deliver solutions.
  • Use CRM tools to track opportunities, metrics, and weekly progress.
  • Participate in weekly accountability meetings and ongoing training through SunSource University.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering, or a 2-year technical degree in Fluid Power, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of industrial sales experience.
  • 2+ years of Fluid Power sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Automation or Motion Control is a plus.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and competitive.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Overnight travel may be required at times.
