Description

  • Implement and validate OCI security controls across IAM, network security groups, encryption, and monitoring.
  • Design, build, test, and deploy OCI-native controls including Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Security Advisor, and Threat Intelligence.
  • Build and manage encryption key management for OCI storage, databases, and SaaS data, including rotation, versioning, and lifecycle policies.
  • Integrate OCI logs and events with the enterprise SIEM and tune detections.
  • Automate cloud security controls using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Help establish technical security standards for cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Collaborate with system administrators, application teams, and project teams to build, operate, and harden cloud workloads.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in cloud security engineering, solution engineering, enterprise architecture, or related technical roles.
  • Advanced hands-on proficiency with OCI security tools and OCI IAM.
  • Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, OCI Resource Manager, or Ansible; Terraform is preferred.
  • Experience integrating OCI logs and events with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Elastic, or Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Understanding of security for compute, load balancing, WAF, API Gateway, and Functions.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have physically resided in the United States for at least 3 years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust federal background investigation.
  • OCI Security Professional or OCI Architect Professional certification (preferred).
  • Experience supporting federal government programs, particularly federal health, and regulated frameworks including FedRAMP, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, or CIS benchmarks (preferred).
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Applications security, other major cloud platforms, or Kubernetes/OKE container security (preferred).
