Description

  • Own Azure and hybrid platform architectures, including landing zones, networking, identity, security, resilience, and recovery.
  • Advise customers on platform architecture, cost optimization, roadmaps, and technical decisions throughout the platform lifecycle.
  • Lead complex escalations and major incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive sustainable architectural improvements.
  • Design hybrid environments across Azure, VMware/Hyper-V, Windows Server, Azure Arc/Azure Local, and hybrid identity and networking.
  • Define and review infrastructure-as-code, automation, reference architectures, and operational standards with engineering and service teams.
  • Serve as the senior technical reference for the Romanian team and mentor engineers.
  • Support customer workshops, presales activities, and transitions into operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Azure architecture and operations experience in production environments.
  • Strong hybrid IT experience with VMware or Hyper-V, Windows Server, Azure Arc/Azure Local, networking, and Entra ID.
  • Knowledge of Azure landing zones, security, governance, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and automation using Bicep or Terraform and Azure DevOps or GitHub.
  • Experience delivering managed services and customer advisory, including technical workshops and complex issue resolution.
  • Strong English communication skills and structured problem-solving ability.
  • Willingness to start work around 06:00 EET, join an on-call rota, and travel occasionally to Germany.
  • German language proficiency at B2+ level is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Copilot, Power Platform, FinOps, Azure Virtual Desktop, or Entra Global Secure Access is preferred.
  • AZ-305, AZ-104, AZ-802, SC-300, or SC-500 certifications are preferred.
