Description

  • Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues by analyzing SQL queries, data feeds, Python code, and system behavior.
  • Serve as a clear, empathetic point of contact for customers during production incidents and communicate status, root cause, and resolution.
  • Develop deep product knowledge of Inpatient Flow workflows such as Departure Lounge, Multidisciplinary Rounds, Case Management, ED Boarding, and Clinical Staffing.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data, reproduce issues, and verify fixes in customer environments.
  • Read and debug Python code to identify defects and support root cause analysis with Engineering.
  • Document, prioritize, and track issues in Jira across cross-functional teams including CSM, Implementation, Data Engineering, Product, and Engineering.
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles and troubleshooting playbooks to improve team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to drive issues to resolution.

Requirements

  • Customer-facing experience handling production issues on a fast-paced software support team.
  • Experience coordinating resolution across teams while keeping external customers informed.
  • Strong empathy and communication skills for de-escalating high-pressure customer situations.
  • A troubleshooting mindset with experience solving complex, ambiguous problems from incomplete data.
  • SQL proficiency for diagnosing data issues, validating records, and verifying fixes.
  • Ability to read and understand Python code to identify bugs and logic errors.
  • Learning agility to ramp quickly on a complex software platform and work independently on customer issues.
  • Collaborative approach to issue resolution and knowing when to engage Engineering or Customer Success.
  • Prior healthcare IT or hospital operations experience, including familiarity with EHR systems such as Epic, Allscripts, or Cerner (bonus).
  • Experience debugging data pipelines, ETL processes, file feeds, HL7, or other healthcare data integration issues (bonus).
  • Experience with Jira, Datadog, Pendo, or Zendesk (bonus).
  • Exposure to Agile development workflows (bonus).
