Description

  • Execute integrated media relations, executive communications, and technical and digital storytelling programs for client accounts.
  • Develop new and existing storytelling opportunities across multiple client accounts.
  • Build subject matter expertise quickly for complex technology products and services.
  • Research, write, and edit bylines, pitches, and other thought leadership content for executives.
  • Cultivate relationships with key media contacts and pursue proactive media opportunities.
  • Balance competing priorities and manage day-to-day work across several client teams.
  • Collaborate on social media strategies and influencer marketing campaigns to amplify brand narratives.
  • Produce consistent, high-quality work and help guide newer teammates on day-to-day tasks.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience at a communications agency or startup technology company, with a focus on PR, social media, or digital marketing.
  • Experience writing across multiple formats, including bylines, pitches, and social content.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Media relations experience with a track record of impactful placements and proactive storytelling.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills across multiple projects and competing timelines.
  • Passion for consuming news and following media trends, with interest in innovation and technology.
  • Consistent, reliable team collaboration and effective information-sharing skills.
  • Direct, inclusive interpersonal communication skills.
  • Track record of delivering high-quality work in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to integrate earned media efforts with digital marketing campaigns is a plus.
  • Diverse work samples demonstrating integrated communications work, including placements, social campaigns, and thought leadership, are encouraged.
