Description

  • Own the reporting infrastructure supporting decision-making across Credit Cards, Make Money/Manage Money, Banking, and Marketplace verticals.
  • Partner closely with Yield, Paid Media, and Account Management teams to uncover trends and business opportunities.
  • Conduct retrospective analyses across experiments, creatives, offers, seasonality, and CAC performance.
  • Audit existing reporting to identify discrepancies, redundancies, and inconsistencies, then develop a roadmap for standardization.
  • Build, standardize, and improve dashboards and reporting assets that are adopted and used by stakeholders.
  • Develop trusted data sources and maintain LookML structure with awareness of downstream impacts.
  • Translate business context into actionable analytics and challenge the team with insights they may not already see.
  • Support ad hoc reporting requests with accuracy and business context.
  • Educate stakeholders and help improve self-service analytics through best practices and standardized reporting.
  • Serve as the technical owner for assigned verticals from raw data ingestion through final dashboard.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in business intelligence or analytics with direct exposure to performance or affiliate marketing.
  • Expert SQL skills and comfort working with unstructured, complex data.
  • Experience extracting accurate insights from raw data without relying on clean models.
  • Experience owning reporting end-to-end, from pipeline to dashboard.
  • Advanced LookML development experience, or equivalent experience in Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong ability to understand and work with messy, complex, third-party data.
  • Ability to connect data work directly to business levers such as campaign performance, conversion rates, or revenue per session.
  • Curiosity and business depth, with a habit of asking questions first and growing into a trusted analytical partner.
  • Strong analytical rigor, communication, collaboration, and proactive ownership skills.
  • Experience partnering closely with business teams to uncover trends and connect analysis to decisions that moved the business.

  • Base salary of $120,000 to $150,000 per year, paid semi-monthly.
