Description

  • Own the reporting infrastructure and end-to-end data pipeline for assigned business verticals.
  • Partner with Yield, Paid Media, and Account Management teams to uncover trends and inform decisions.
  • Audit existing reporting, identify discrepancies and redundancies, and standardize dashboards across teams.
  • Execute ad hoc analyses on experiments, creatives, offers, seasonality, and CAC performance.
  • Build and maintain LookML models or equivalent BI models in Power BI or Tableau.
  • Develop trusted data sources and reporting suites that enable self-service analytics.
  • Translate business context into data insights and recommend actions, not just findings.
  • Improve team data literacy through education, best practices, and standardized reporting.
  • Challenge stakeholders with proactive insights that help the business see around corners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s-level equivalent experience is not specified, but a minimum of 7 years in business intelligence or analytics is required.
  • Direct experience in performance marketing or affiliate marketing is required.
  • Expert-level SQL skills and comfort working with unstructured, complex data are required.
  • Experience extracting accurate insights from raw, messy, third-party data without relying on clean models is required.
  • Advanced LookML development experience or equivalent experience in Power BI or Tableau is required.
  • Experience owning reporting end-to-end, from pipeline to dashboard, is strongly preferred.
  • Experience partnering closely with business teams to uncover trends and connect analysis to decisions is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen, curiosity, and the ability to ask the right questions before analyzing are expected.
  • Experience architecting complex models with awareness of downstream impacts is expected.

  • Base salary of $120,000 to $150,000 per year, paid semi-monthly.
