Description

  • Own analysis that informs product and marketing decisions, including channel performance, acquisition cost, conversion, and customer retention.
  • Investigate marketing attribution models and quantify the value of partially tracked bookings.
  • Build and ship intermediate dbt models to support analysis independently.
  • Own experiment analysis end to end, including test sizing, result interpretation, and conclusion-setting.
  • Build Hex reporting and improve self-serve analytics for the business.
  • Define and document core business metrics so teams work from consistent numbers.
  • Use AI tools in day-to-day analysis and help shape an AI-first data team.

Requirements

  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial instinct to identify the right numbers for a business question and challenge misleading results.
  • Track record of analysis that changed a decision, not just reported on one.
  • Strong multi-tasking and project management skills across multiple analyses, dashboards, and models.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote, fast-moving team.
  • Excellent SQL skills and experience working with a substantial warehouse.
  • Background in product and/or marketing analytics at a fast-growing startup or scale-up.
  • Hands-on experience with PostHog and GA4, with understanding of their strengths and limitations.
  • Hands-on CRO analysis experience; familiarity with Eppo and VWO is expected.
  • dbt experience or a strong willingness to learn it quickly.
  • Deep comfort using AI tools natively in your workflow; MCP experience is a plus.
  • Python experience for analyses that go beyond SQL is a bonus.
  • E-commerce, travel, marketplace, or subscription business experience is a bonus.
