Description

  • Own the P&L, pacing, reporting, operations, and profitability for Insurance YouTube campaigns.
  • Manage campaign architecture, audience strategy, bidding, budget allocation, conversion events, targeting, exclusions, and testing directly in Google Ads.
  • Build and optimize lead- and call-generation campaigns that improve CTR, CVR, ROAS, call volume, lead quality, advertiser quality, and margin.
  • Adapt buying strategy and messaging across insurance sub-verticals and expand into additional insurance, financial services, and emerging video channels.
  • Own creative strategy from a performance perspective, including audience selection, messaging angles, hooks, offer positioning, and testing priorities.
  • Partner with creative, analytics, sales, product, and leadership teams to align on performance insights and decisions.
  • Build repeatable operating systems and playbooks for video buying, creative testing, audience expansion, and multi-vertical scaling.
  • Proactively communicate performance updates, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and executives on a daily basis.
  • Use AI and self-serve tools to accelerate creative development and testing without relying on centralized resources.
  • Help build and lead a video-first team as investment in the channel grows.

Requirements

  • 8+ years managing high-growth performance marketing portfolios.
  • 3+ years managing and scaling YouTube, Meta, TikTok, or other video-first portfolios with budgets of $20M+ per year.
  • Experience scaling performance video in at least one major lead gen niche such as affiliate, call-based, insurance, financial services, health, or marketplace.
  • Proven success profitably scaling brands across video performance platforms, with deep hands-on expertise in YouTube, Meta, and TikTok.
  • Strong hands-on experience building campaigns directly in-platform, including campaign architecture, audience and bidding strategy, conversion event setup, testing design, budget pacing, and daily optimization.
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker and Google Analytics, plus advanced Excel/Sheets skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, regression, correlation, and performance modeling.
  • Deep understanding of high-performing video creative, including YouTube ABCDs, hooks, funnel stage, audience intent, offer positioning, and platform-specific formats.
  • Ability to use AI and self-serve tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, CapCut, MidJourney, Gemini, VEO3, or Claude to move quickly on creative testing.
  • Experience owning P&L and delivering aggressive growth and profitability goals through repeatable playbooks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting insights in Slack, Zoom, and executive-facing settings.
  • Experience buying across multiple verticals at once, especially in insurance sub-verticals like auto, home, health, ACA, and Medicare.
  • Nice to have: experience with MMM, incrementality, geo holdouts, or brand lift measurement.
  • Nice to have: experience in personal finance, lending, credit cards, home services, or consumer subscriptions.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with competitive intelligence tools such as SimilarWeb, AdBeat, Ahrefs, SpyFu, or Pathmatics.
  • Nice to have: background in regulated marketing environments such as consumer finance, insurance, or healthcare.
