Description

  • Proactively identify and contact construction teams through cold outreach to create new opportunities and set introductory calls.
  • Represent Shape’s product in outreach conversations and explain how it can improve project delivery performance.
  • Refine outreach strategy by testing and improving messaging, channels, and engagement tactics using data and insights.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, sales, and customer success teams to align targeting, feedback, and execution.
  • Help build and improve SDR processes, systems, and outreach engine as the company scales.
  • Contribute to the growth team’s learning culture by sharing best practices and developing sales capability.
  • Support the evolution of the role into a broader strategic position as the function grows.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers across construction and related business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS or construction tech.
  • Comfort engaging decision-makers and guiding them through a sales process.
  • Confident, engaging communication style with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • Ability to speak with both hands-on construction teams and senior business leaders.
  • Strong ownership mindset and willingness to handle rejection and iterate on approach.
  • Ability to spot opportunities and adapt based on what is working.
  • Experience with full-cycle or 360 sales exposure is preferred.
  • An extensive network in the construction and/or tech startup industries is a plus.
  • Early leadership, coaching, or people management exposure is preferred.
  • Interest in learning construction or digital project delivery language if not already experienced.
