Description

  • Provide structured wellness coaching through prevention, wellness promotion, psychoeducation, and behavioral health interventions.
  • Develop individualized care plans, set goals, and create action plans to support positive behavioral change.
  • Deliver single-session wellness coaching and drop-in support based on individual needs.
  • Perform mental health and wellness screening, assessment, and progress monitoring.
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify crisis situations, and facilitate appropriate referrals.
  • Moderate user-submitted content and journals in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Communicate with other healthcare providers to support warm handoffs and a seamless care experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with internal policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Follow compliance, legal, safeguarding, protection, and data privacy requirements.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, training, performance management, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • National Certified Peer Specialist certification.
  • Certified Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist certification.
  • At least 6 months of experience working in or volunteering in peer-to-peer support services.
  • Current state certification with a minimum training requirement of 40 hours.
  • Must permanently reside within one of the 48 contiguous United States.
  • Availability Tuesday through Saturday from 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM PT.
  • Ability to work 24 hours per week.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

  • Hourly pay of $25 to $31 based on experience.
