Description

Own the strategy, design, and operation of enterprise infrastructure across data centers, cloud environments, networks, servers, storage, and virtualization.
Ensure high availability, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity for core systems.
Drive cloud adoption, migration, and optimization to improve scalability and manage costs.
Establish infrastructure standards, monitoring, and automation to reduce manual effort and downtime.
Oversee database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and lifecycle management.
Partner with application and data teams to align database architecture with business needs.
Manage the full lifecycle of end-user hardware and software, including procurement, provisioning, deployment, patching, and asset management.
Lead the IT service desk and support operations to ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests.
Define and manage SLAs, KPIs, and continuous improvement for support performance and user satisfaction.
Build, mentor, and lead the IT operations organization, including managers and technical staff.
Develop and manage the IT operations budget, vendor relationships, and contracts.
Establish operational metrics and reporting for executive leadership.
Partner cross-functionally with application, security, privacy, and business teams.
Drive process maturity, automation, and continuous improvement across IT operations.

Requirements

12+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in senior IT operations leadership.
Proven experience leading enterprise infrastructure, systems, database, end-user computing, and service desk functions.
Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, networking, virtualization, and enterprise systems.
Strong experience with ITSM frameworks such as ITIL and IT operations tooling.
Demonstrated ability to build teams, manage budgets, and lead vendor relationships at scale.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in a high-growth, multi-site, or global organization (preferred).
Master's degree or MBA (preferred).
Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or cloud architect certifications (preferred).
Experience supporting a technology- or transportation-focused business (preferred).
