Description

  • Improve and maintain the AWS infrastructure.
  • Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and security.
  • Design, implement, and maintain the observability stack, including metrics, logging, tracing, and dashboards.
  • Work with engineering teams to instrument applications for better observability.
  • Improve developer productivity through tooling and automation.
  • Secure the system and ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to support platform operations.
  • Collaborate with developers, security engineers, and product stakeholders on platform quality and reliability.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in SRE roles working with AWS.
  • 2+ years of experience in a software development role.
  • Hands-on experience with observability tools, preferably Datadog.
  • Proficiency with Terraform.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Ruby/Rails, Python, Go, or Shell Script.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
  • Strong communication skills for working with external companies and cross-functional internal teams (preferred).
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and other networking protocols (preferred).
  • Experience with AWS Direct Connect (preferred).
