Description

  • Own technical strategy for complex, high-stakes enterprise opportunities with minimal oversight.
  • Lead advanced technical discovery to uncover pain points and differentiation opportunities.
  • Host technical workshops that align solutions to business outcomes and support executive-level communication.
  • Architect and execute Proof of Value plans to win technical selection over competitors.
  • Partner with account executives on deal strategy using competitive intelligence and industry expertise.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in marketing technology, CDPs, AI-driven personalization, analytics, and eCommerce.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with R&D to influence product outcomes and roadmap direction.
  • Create high-impact content for the SA Learning Library and mentor peers through example.
  • Develop deep expertise in the Klaviyo platform, including data pipelines, integrations, and implementation tradeoffs.
  • Prototype solutions and build proof-of-concepts that demonstrate product differentiation and improve customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in Solutions Engineering or Pre-Sales.
  • 4+ years leading technical strategy in high-complexity enterprise deals worth 6-7 figures.
  • 4+ years of experience across modern development stacks, including Python, Node.js, React, RESTful APIs, SQL, and some mobile development exposure.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Codex and Claude Code, plus emerging patterns like MCP.
  • Strong domain knowledge in marketing automation, CDPs, eCommerce systems, analytics, or data engineering.
  • Advanced discovery and requirements-gathering skills in multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Executive presence and exceptional communication skills across executive and developer audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle objections, navigate challenging conversations, and deliver strategic insights.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-moving environments.
  • Experience using AI to scale effectiveness, competitive intelligence, R&D influence, or enablement contributions is a plus.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $118,400 to $177,600 USD.
  • Participation in the annual cash bonus plan.
  • Variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles.
  • Equity and sign-on payments may be included in total compensation.
  • Comprehensive health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits, subject to eligibility.
  • Up to 10% travel for onboarding, client or partner work, team meetings, and industry events.
  • Flexible consideration of work location, with recruiter-provided salary/OTE details based on preferred location.
